Employability through crafts

In 2021, Cherry, in collaboration with Pracours Le Mondes, YOBBO, MC Idrija, PRAXIS and Rota Jovem, started the Curae project.

We noticed that through the years, crafts have bacome something for the elderly, while youth seems to lose interest in it. Through this project, we wanted to show youngsters from different European countries that local crafts are part of their history and identity.

Crafts can also fit into modern times and help the environment thrugh recycling. This is also something that youngsters who participated in the different activities of this project could witness.

At the end of November we will be organising a grand premiere in which we will show the documentary made during Curae and the impact it had on youngsters, along with the launch of the photgraphy book, which contains a manual for young entrepreneurs, also created during the project. Both book and documentary will be available online after the premiere.
